Chittagong struggling to skip defeat

Chittagong Division struggling to skip defeat as they were forced to follow- on by Rangpur Division on the third day of tier 1 of four-day National Cricket League held on Thursday at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet.
Chittagong Division cheaply dismissed their first innings at 182after they resumed the third day at overnight score of 82 for 2, in reply to a Ranpur Division’s massive first innings total of 450 runs.
Being forced to follow-on, Chittagong Division stared their second innings on the third day afternoon and again faced batting jolt as they finished the day at 149 for 4, still trailing by 119 runs with six wickets in hand.
Yasir Ali and Saeed Sarkar were on the crease with 39 and 21 runs as the bails were drawn for the day. Ariful Haque bagged two wickets conceding 16 runs.

Rangpur Division 1st innings – 450 for all, Shuvo 121, Liton 72, Babu 64, Ariful 52, Nasir 30, Saifuddin 4/93 and Hossain 3/77.
Chittagong Division 1st innings – 182 for all, Irfan 47, Avishek 28, Saifuddin 25, Saddam 3/36, Shuvo 3/48 and Mahmudul Hasan 2/13.
