The Chittagong Hill Tracts Ministry Football League began at the Bandarban District Stadium on Thursday. A total of ten teams are taking part in the football competition.
State Minister for Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Bir Bahadur, MP inaugurated the football meet as the chief guest. Brigadier General and Brigade Commander of Bandarban Naquib Ahmed Chowdhury, Chairman of Bandarban District Council Kay Shay Hla and DC of Bandarban KM Tariqul Islam were present at the time.
Bandarban District Sports Association has arranged the football meet.
The budget of the competition has been estimated at Tk 12 lac while Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs has given Tk ten lac to Bandarban District Sports Association and the Association will bear rest of the expenditure from its own fund.
