Chinese company Sunshine Accessories Manufacturing BD Ltd. is going to set up fabric & interlining manufacturing industry in the standard factory building of Chittagong Export Processing Zone.
An agreement to this effect signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority and Sunshine Accessories Manufacturing BD Ltd. at BEPZA Complex in Dhaka on Monday.
Sayed Nurul Islam, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA and Lili, Chairman of Sunshine Accessories Mfc. BD Ltd. inked the deal, says a press release.
According to the agreement, this company will invest US$ 8.7 million for setting up the plant with annual production capacity of 20 million meters grey fabric, dyed fabric, lining & interlining. Sunshine Accessories will create employment opportunity for 799 Bangladeshi nationals.
Major General Mohd Habibur Rahman Khan, ndc, psc, Executive Chairman, Md Abdur Rahman, Member (Engineering), Md Shawkat Nabi, Secretary and Nazma Binte Alamgir, General Manager (Public Relations) of BEPZA were present at the signing ceremony.
