‘Amar Ekushey Boi Mela’ experienced a huge turnout of book lovers on Saturday, as it was a holiday and the authorities announced the day as ‘Shishu Prohor’.
There was a long queue of the visitors, to enter the Bangla Academy and the Suhrawardy Uddyan premises.
In the morning, children along with guardians crowded the stalls in the children’s corner, inside Suhrawardy Uddyan.
The fair authorities observe the children’s hour with keenness, when general visitors are not allowed, so that children can buy books without facing any hassle. A guardian accompanies a child visitor.
