Chief guest President of Bangladesh Medical Association and President of Bangladesh Basketball Federation Dr Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin being introduced with Bangladesh Army, the participating team in the opening match of the Bangabandhu Victory Day Basketball Tournament at Dhanmondi Basketball Gymnasium in the city on Sunday. Bangladesh Army beat Dhumketu Club by 91-74 points in the inaugural match. Vice-President of Bangladesh Basketball Federation (BBF) Mainul Ahsan Monju, General Secretary of BBF and Secretary General of South Asian Basketball Association Lieutenant Commander (Retd) AK Sarker were present at the time. The basketball meet is being held marking the berth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
