The inauguration ceremony of the final coaching programme for the selected players from grassroots level was held on Wednesday at the conference-room in ground floor of National Sports Council (NSC).
Youth and Sports Secretary Kazi Akhtar Uddin Ahmed formally inaugurated the programme as the chief guest.
NSC Secretary Ashoke Kumar Biswas. Dil Mohammad Director (Sports) of NSC and Bangladesh Chess Federation general secretary Syed Shahab Uddin Shamim were present as special guests.
Selected twelve girls and 11 boys are participating in the two months residential coaching programm.
International Master Abu Sufian Shakil, FM Eunus Hasan, National Instructor Mahmuda Hoque Chowdhury Moly and Showkat Hossain Pollab are giving lessons in the programme.
