The Executive Committee of Bangladesh Chess Federation, Chess Organisers, Chess Arbiters and Chess players all expressed their deep shock and condole at the death of Selima Begum, mother of former national woman champion and Woman FIDE Master Tanima Parveen.
She passed away on Saturday night at hospital in Chittagong, suffer a massive heart attack and was 64 years old.
The condolence messages prayed for the salvation of the departed soul.
