On the occasion of Ramzan and in coronavirus crisis situation, cheque, cash and baby food were distributed in Gafargaon of Mymensingh.
The distribution was completed at noon on Wednesday (May 20) at the Upazila Parishad auditorium at the initiative of the Upazila administration.
Local MP Fahmi Golandaz Babel was present as the chief guest.
Among others, Upazila Chairman Ashraf Uddin Badal, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Kazi Mahbub Ur Rahman, UP Chairman Abdullah Al Amin Biplob and others were present.
At that time, the MP handed Prime Minister’s grant cheques of taka 2.5 lakh among the orphans and distressed students of 18 madrasas.To deal with the corona situation baby food among 160 families and cash among the disabled also distributed.
