After one day’s break, Beximco Dhaka will face Fortune Barishal in the Eliminator phase of the Bangabandhu T20 Cup Cricket which begins today at 12.30pm at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirupur, while Gazi Group Chattogram will meet Gemcon Khulna in the 1st Qualifier, which starts today at 5.30pm at the same venue.
The winner of the Eliminator phase will play in the 2nd Qualifier tomorrow against the loser of the 1st Qualifier. The loser of the Eliminator phase will be ousted from the tournament.
The winner of the 1st Qualifier will straightly play in the final.
The second Qualifier will be held tomorrow at the same venue which kicks-off at 4.30pm.
The winner of the second Qualifier will get tickets of the final.
The final will be held on December 18.
It may be mentioned that Gazi Group Chattogram, Gemcon Khulna, Beximco Dhaka and Fortune Barishal confirmed their last four berth collecting 14, 8, 8 and 6 points respectively from eight matches.
Minister Group Rajshahi failed to reach the last four place earning four points from as many outings.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has arranged the five-team shorter version cricket meet.
