The concept of Chattogram Commercial Capital will be implemented very shortly subject to consensus of all public representatives and the govt bureaucrats.
This was disclosed by the former Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister while addressing the discussion meeting followed by Eid reunion get together of Chattogram Commercial Capital Implementation Parishad held on Wednesday at Hotel Paramount International conference hall as Chief Guest.
The Chief Guest in his brief deliberations said if the port city famous Chattogram is turned into Commercial capital, Bangladesh will be benefited to a great extents. President of the organisation SM Sirajdowllah presided over the meeting. Secretary General of the Parshad Saleh Ahmed Suleman delivered address of welcome in it duly graced by Prof AQM Sirajul Islam, City Planner Engr. Ali Ashraf , Prof Jinobodhi Bikku, Advocate Iftekhar Saimul Chowdhury, Advocate Sunil Sarkar, as special guests.
Executive President of the organization Principal Dr.Abdul Karim, Chief Coordinator Adv Zia Habib Ahsan, vice President Golap Rahman, Advocate Syed Kamaluddin, Advisor Md. Farid, vice President Ziauddin Khaled Chowdhury, Joint Secy General Md. Kutubuddin and journalist Bhupen Das, Asstt. Secy General Mitul Das, journalist Absar Mahfuz, Publicity Secretary HM Alamgir Rana, Press Secretary M Hashem Talukder, Public Relations Secretary Ahsanullah Jahedi delivered welcome address in the discussion and Eid reunion meeting.
The chief guest also said the implementation of the concept Commercial capitat is possible subject to joint efforts of the people of Chattogrtam and the local elected representatives. He said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is very much cordial towards Chattogram.
He said if the capacity of Chattogram Port is expanded the the revenue earnings of the whole country will rise beyond expectations. . He further said unless combined efforts of the civil society, bureaucrats, elected representatives, the dream of the concept of commercial capital will not be fulfilled.
