Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu yesterday said General Ziaur Rahman is a villain in the history of Bangladesh.
Ziaur Rahman built a children’s park at the place in Suhrawardi Udyan, where the Pakistani occupation forces surrendered in the Liberation War, to
hide the shame and satisfy the Pakistanis and their collaborators, he said while speaking as chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of 9th founding anniversary and 6th recitation programme of Sangbrita at Dhaka University TSC auditorium.
