Illegal sand traders syndicate in Padma River under Charghat Upazila in Rajshahi led by Yusufpur Union Jubo League President Samrat has allegedly threatened to kill The New Nation Correspondent and Ananda TV District Correspondent Obaidul Islam Robi while he was collecting the news about illegal sand lifting . In this regard, a GD (No 689) has been filed against Samrat with Charghat Model Police Station on Friday evening .
A member of Bangladesh Human Rights Commission, Charghat Branch informed journalists at around 12 noon on Friday. Local BNP and AL leaders along with terrorist are made water lines to lifting the protected erosion slap and digging a hole. It’s a long strata 150 yards west-north from Chak Maukartarpur Sarkarpara. They are being creating a new sand lifting point.
 At that time, the journalist took some pictures of sport through a Samsung mobile tab but some terrorists took the mobile phone and deleted of all the pictures. Talking to Upazila Jubo League President Kazi Mahmudul Hassan (Mamun), said , Samrat has already been expelled from the party. Besides, Pouro AL President Sajjat Hossain said , sands could not be lifted without the permission and there was danger of damaging the river bed.
The mater was informed to the Police. However, Charghat Model Thana Police visited the spot on Friday evening . Action would be taken against the culprits after all investigations , UNO Mohammad Nazmul Haque said

Finally pazila Chairmen and Awami League Secretary Faqrul Islam and UZ AL President said, they are being trying to illegal sand lifting. It’s should not misappropriate with journalist. As soon as possible they are taken action against the offenders.
