Narayanganj Correspondent :Slain war councilor of Naraynganj City Corportaion Nazrul Islam’s wife Selina Islam Beauty demanded reinvestigation into the Narayanganj sensational seven murder incident.She made the demand at a press conference at her residence at Pashcimpara Mijmiji area of Siddirganj on Thursday. Selina alleged that the charge sheet in the seven murder case was politically motivated. Expressing discontent over the charge sheet which excluded the mastermind behind the killing, Selina demanded immediate transfer of investigation officer, Officer-in-Charge of DB police Mamunur Rashid.She made a further demand to investigate the killing by the officials of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) or new Detective Branch (DB). “The accused no-2 and Siddirganj thana Awami League sacked general secretary Haji Yeasin from Singapore with the help of a middleman offered me Tk 2 crore and 15 decimil land to exclude their names from the charge sheet. But I did not accept it,” Selina revealed. She also mentioned the prime accused Nur Hossain’s nephews Shahjalal Badal and Anwar Hossain chased her husband Nazrul Islam with arms to kill him on February 1, 2014. “At that time, they loudly threatened to kill my husband within 15 days,” she added.”Later, the plan to kill my husband was done at the residence of Yeasin,” Selina alleged. Police on Wednesday submitted the charge sheet in court over the sensational seven-murder case in Narayanganj, implicating 35 people including three former RAB officials and Awami League leader Nur Hossain.Seven persons including councilor Nazrul Islam, senior lawyer Chandan Sarker were abducted from Narayanganj town on April 27, 2014. After three days, bodies of those people were found floating on Shytalakhya river.
