Assistant Professor of Geography and Environment Studies Department of Rajshahi University Chandan Roy has obtained PhD degree in Computer and Information Science recently from Linkoping University in Sweden. The title of his thesis is ‘An Informed System Development Approach to Tropical Cyclone Track and Intensity Forecasting’. Dr Rita Kovordanyi, Associate Professor of Linkoping University was the supervisor of his research work.
He is the son of Satyaranjan Roy and late Neelima Roy of Nandipara village in Pirojpur district. He seeks blessings from all.
