If he manages time Chanchal Chowdhury travels any place along with his only son. In fact, due to shooting he cannot give time to his wife and children. Eid is coming soon and directors have already started shooting for Eid plays. Chanchal has already returned to country from Nepal after completing shooting of two seven-episode serials – Lekur Everest Joy and 25/2 Kathmandu Valley, directed by Sokal Ahmed which stories were written by Brindaban Das, and two faction plays. He stayed there for two weeks at a time for shooting. Shahnaz Khushi, Pran Roy, Nabila, Aparna, among others, were his co-artistes in these works.
Chanchal said, “Under Sokal Ahmed’s direction I have been working for many years. He works sincerely. For this reason, actors get positive response from the viewers for acting his directed works. I believe viewers will enjoy these works.”
Chanchal got the National Film Award for second time for acting in Amitabh Reza’s Aynabaji. Last year he was seen to act in Anom Biswas’ movie Devi. He first got the National Film Award for acting Gias Uddin Selim’s Monpura.
