Chanchal, Shaon’s voices removed by YouTube

The song titled Sorboto Mongol Radhe jointly rendered by popular actor Chanchal Chowdhury and actress Shaon has been removed on YouTube due to copyright issue.
The song was released on YouTube and Facebook on Tuesday as the third performance of a folk music programme titled Our Song organised by IPDC Finance Ltd.
The song, rendered by Chanchal and Shaon soon after it was released on YouTube and Facebook, was praised on social media and soon went viral. However, shortly after its release, YouTube removed the song due to a copyright issue. From then on, the controversy started on social media.
It is known that the song Sorboto Mongol Radhe belongs to the band Shorolpur. But in Chanchal-Shaon’s voice, the song has been mentioned as a song collected during the performance. Apart from this, permission was not taken from the band. After that, the song of Chanchal-Shaon’s voice was removed by YouTube in response to the allegation of Tariqul Islam Tapan, the founding member of Shorolpur and chief guitarist of the band.
