Heroic South Korea beat reigning champions Germany by two goals to nil in their Group-F match of the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018 at the Kazan Arena in Russia on Wednesday.
Kim Young-Gwon and Son Heung-Min of South Korea scored one goal each in the second minute and sixth minutes of the injury time.
Germany were out of the World Cup as they bagged three points from three matches.
South Korea also gained three points from three matches.
Meanwhile, in their last Group-F match on Wednesday at the Yekaterinburg Arena in Russia, Sweden defeated Mexico by three goals to nil.
Sweden and Mexico confirmed their second round berth collecting six points each from their respective three matches.
After a barren first half, Augustinsson of Sweden put his team ahead by a left-footer in the 50th minute of the play.
Granqvist of Sweden made it 2-0 by a spot-kick in the 62nd minute of the match.
Mexico conceded an own goal by Edson Alvarez in the 74th minute of the game.
