The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Wednesday observed the International Anti-Corruption Day organising rallies and discussion programmes.
The theme of the ACC for this year was “Take Oath for Patriotism, Good-bye Corruption.
To mark the day, the Commission brought out a procession from in front of the ACC’s Headquarters and returned to the same place after parading different roads of the city.
The officials and employees of the commission and
the people from all professions took part in the procession.
The ACC Chairman Md Badiuzzaman urged the
people to make the country corruption-free with taking oath of patriotism.
“We have been observing the day every year. Our motto is to eliminate the corruption from the society and make the people aware about it.
“We want help of you all to bring the corruption reduced to the minimum stage. We are working against the corruption with the spirit of patriotism. Please join with us,” the chairman said.
