Controller General of Accounts (CGA) office observes National Mourning Day on 15 August, 2021, commemorating the 46th anniversary of the martyrdom of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Md. Nurul Islam, Controller General of Accounts, along with other high officials, offers floral tribute to the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the morning.
In a discussion Islam says that such untimely loss of Bangabandhu and his family members on 15 August 1975 was irreparable. If we discharge our bounden duties in the service of our nation from each of our respective positions, this will be the true homage to Bangabandhu.
