Double organizational committees have been formed in seven wards of the Chattogram City units of Awami League due to inner conflict of the party.
Those double committees have been working during the last one year. Recently in a notice, the central committee has suspended those committees.
Besides, Mahbubul Hanif, Joint Secretary of AL, directed the City unit to suspend all double committees of the organization in the extended meeting of the unit held on Wednesday. He asked the leaders of the city unit to form a convening committee in all seven wards of the city by Friday.
AL Party President Sheikh Hasina is expected to sit with the root level leaders of Chattogram on June 30 (Saturday) at Ganabhaban in Dhaka.
In the meeting, the Presidents and General Secretaries of the local units would attend
