In Dhaka city, street children have always been living a helpless life which has been exacerbated by the
coronavirus epidemic Due to this, the health risks of the street children are increasing on the one hand and the food shortage is increasing on the other hand. Centre for Development Action (CDA), a non-government organization, has come forward to help these children.
On Friday, October 9, 2020, from 8pm to 10pm, a CDA volunteer team distributed one packet of chicken-vegetables hotchpotch among total 100 street children each in Mohammadpur, Gabtoli bus terminal, Sangsad Bhaban, Farmgate, Karwan Bazar and Malibagh areas of the city. This is to be noted that out of the 100 street children, 73 were boys and 27 were girls.
