CDA Chairman visits installation site of Bangabandhu’s portrait

Chairman of Chittagong Development Authority ( CDA) Abdus Salam visited the installation site of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman ‘s potrait at Oxygen -Kuwaish Connecting Road yesterday.
The potrail of Bangabandhu is being erected at a cost of Tk.1 cr under the direct supervision of CDA chairman , sources said.
While asked CDA chairman told the journos that the history of liberation war and independence of Bangladesh should to presented to the new generations and the new generations should be inspired to know the history of Bangabandhu and the history of Bangaldesh. So , as a historical monuments, the portrait of Bangabandhu is being erected in Chittagong .
Among others, city planner Shahinul Islam Khan, Project director Shahabudin Khaled, Senior architect Maharina Jafrin and senior officials of CDA were present during the visit.
Journalists from different media were also present on the occasion.
