The contract period of the Chairman of Chittagong Development Authority Abdus Salam has been extended by two years, a circular of the Ministry of Public Administration said on Monday.
This is the fifth time of extention of his assignment as Chairman on contractual basis. In his extention of service in CDA , CDA chairman expresses gratitudes to the Prime Minister and the citizens of Chittagong . Mentionable that Abdus Salam was first assigned as Chairman on April 23 , 2009 and before that he was the treasurer of City AL. Meanwhile High court issued a rule upon the concerned ministry and CDA about the frequent time extension in the post of chairman as filed a writ before the high court recently.
