A total of 16 CCTV cameras have been inaugurated at Dashuria Bazaar in Ishwardi to ensure security. Pabna Superintendent of Police Mahibul Islam Khan BPM officially inaugurated the installation of CCTV cameras at 11am on Thursday.
Dashuria UP Chairman Bakul Sardar presided over the meeting organized by the traders of Dashuria Bazar. Additional Superintendent of Police Firoz Kabir of Ishwardi Circle and Police Station Officer-in-Charge Asaduzzaman Asad spoke.
Speaking as the chief guest, the Superintendent of Police said, “Under the direction of the present IGP Sir, we are working on zero tolerance against drugs and extortion.”
I am working to make Pabna a drug free district. In the last six months, 24 weapons have been recovered in Pabna. We are keeping the name of the informant confidential. At the same time, he urged the common people to abide by the health regulations given by the government to deal with the epidemic corona virus.
