President of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mahbubul Alam called upon the business houses, leaders to suspend their scheduled Iftar Mahfil considering the sufferings of the flood ravaged people of Chittagong and its adjoining areas.
 He disclosed it while distribution of 20 tons rice as donated by Anowara-Alam Foundation of Raozan .
In a press statement CCCI chief said due to natural disaster recently in Chittagong, hundreds of people are suffering miserably and are passing days under open sky as their houses flown away the flood flash water .
He also called the affluents, business houses to stand beside the flood ravaged people of Raozan, Rangunia, Hathazari and Fatikchari of the district. Sources said 20 tons rice will be distributed in 4 unions and poura areas of Raozan.
 The state was also told that the subscriptions so collected f or arranging Iftar Mahfil should be distributed among the affected areas. Mentionable that recently Raozan Poura and Upazila AL suspected their scheduled Iftar Mahfil last week over sympathy to the flood affected people of the upazila.
