President of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce & Industry in a urgent letter called Energy Affairs advisor to the Prime Minister Towfiq Elahi to refrain from increasing the tariff of power and gas from January next.
In his letter , chamber president fears that if the tariff is increased in this present economic situation of the country, the small and medium entrepreneurs as well as lower and middle income people will face misery to maintain the livelihood.
