One transport pool officer transferred with demotion and another Deputy Tax official suspended by the management of Chittagong City Corporation yesterday. Following the obstructions in ongoing waterlogging activities with lame excuse of artificial crisis of transports , CCC transferred pool officer Fazlul Kader with demotion. Concerned ward councilors alleged this accuse against the pool officer since long, a reliable sources said. After physical vertification, the allegations of the councilors were proved against Fazlul Kader. A CCC official on condition of anonymity told that due the negligence in duties, Fazlul Kader has been demoted and transferred to other department. Meanwhile, one Tax official Sarek Ullah was suspended from service for alleged corruption and irregularities for taking advantages from the tax payers in different ways and misbehaviors with other officials of the corporation. Chief Revenue officer Ahmedul Hoque admitted the matters to this reporter while contacted. Mentionable that disciplinary punishment against Sarek Ullah earlier was taken with demotion to his post, sources said.
