Chittagong Bureau :
Chittagong City Mayor Alhaj M Monzoor Alam visited ADB funded road development work at No 27 South Agrabad R/A Ward Road and Connecting Bridge at Ward No 36 Abid Para Bangabandu Bridge to Nimtala Bridge.
City Mayor also exchanged views with local people and discussed about the developme work and beautification of the city for the upcoming ICC T-20 World Cup.
City Mayor urged the contractor to complete the repairing work in scheduled time and thanked the citizens for the co-operation in development work.
City Mayor also urged the city dwellers to keep the city neat and clean and not to pilling the construction materials in footpath and to remove the unauthorized posters and billboards from the area.
Word councilors of the respective ward were also present during the visit. Woman Councellor Afroza Kalam, Jannatul Ferdous Popy,Executive Engineer Rafiqul Islam, Chief Conservative officer Shofiqul Mannan Siddiqi, Asst Engineer Abu Sadat Mohammed Toyeb, Conservative officer Morshedul Alam and the local social worker were also present during the visit.
