Chattogram City Corporation is implementing LED lighting project in all thoroughfares of the city at a cost of Tk.630 crores under all 41 wards of the city . Govt of India is funding the project.
This was disclosed at the meeting of views exchanging with the dwellers of North Pahartali in city yesterday .
He said it at the meeting held at Firoz shah colony Bangabandhu square in city . He said this project is waiting for approval from ECNEC city mayor said in next two years this project will be completed and after implementation of this project, austerity in power sector is possible at large extents.
He further said since his assumption as city Mayor, development works worth about Tk.2000 crores so far implemented.
