Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) is going to start outpatient treatment for eyes at its General Hospital on Saturday, said CCC Chief Health Officer Dr Selim Akter Chowdhury yesterday.
He was addressing a press conference at KB Abdus Sattar auditorium of CCC.
He said a process of launching a 10-bed burn unit at the hospital was also going on.
Moreover, a health policy is being formulated for the health department of CCC, he said.
CCC is also mulling to start different facilities including setting up a medical college and ICU at the CCC General Hospital, said Selim.
