A week-long anti-militancy programme titled “Jongibad Rukhbei Tarunya, Har Manbena Bangladesh” (youths will resist militancy, Bangladesh will not give in) will begin on August 26 in the port city.
With the aim of creating public awareness against militancy, Chittagong District Administration is going to organise the programme in cooperation with Chittagong City Corporation (CCC).
Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Mesbah Uddin disclosed it at a press conference in the city’s Circuit House yesterday. The programme will include exhibition of video documentaries against militancy, anti-militancy cycle rally and leaflets distribution, and views-exchange meeting.
