A new executive committee of the Chittagong Veterinary & Animal Science University (CVASU) Officers Association was formed for the session 2017-2018 on Tuesday led by Habibur Rahman and Abdul Mannan as President and General Secretary respectively .
The new EC committee constituted at the general meeting of the association held at University conference hall . After assuming the charge by new committee, the office bearers of old and new committee of the association greeted the Vice Chancellor of CVASU Prof. Dr. Goutam Buddha by presenting bouquets.
Vice chancellor called upon the new office bearers of the association to dedicate themselves for the welfare of the university. Among others, Regisrar of the university Mirza Faruk Imam, outgoing President of the Assocn Md.Abul Kalam , Deputy Director(PR) Khalilur Rahman were present on the occasion. The other office bearers are- vice President Dr. Kazi Roksana Sultana, Joint secretary Md. Alamgir Hossain, Treasurer Chamak Chanda, officer secretary Md. Shahdat Hossain, cultural secretary Shirdatha Sankar chowdhury, social welfare secretary Md. Jasimuddin and members viz. Towhidul Hoque, Md. Jamal Hossain and Amirullah Riday, PR sources said.
