About twenty seven metric tons of cattle feed were distributed among flood-affected dairy farmers under the initiative of BRAC Dairy and Food Project in Bhangura Upazila on Sunday.
Nur-A-Alam, Senior Manager of the Milk Collection and Production Service, said that four hundred and twenty farmers in the upazila have been provided fifteen-days of cattle feed.
Golam Hasnain Rashel ,Mayor of Bhangura Municipality inaugurated the distribution program. Among others Dr. Tofazzal Hossain Upazila Animal Resources Officer, Azida Parvin Pakhi, Upazila Women’s Vice Chairman, Md Masud Rana OC of Bhanura Thana, Dr. Shawkat Ali, National Sales Manager of BRAC, Dr Mizanur Rahman, Regional Manager of milk collection, Almasur Rahman, Zilla Representative of BRAC and Mahbubur Rahman, Area Manager were present in the occasion.
