A case has been filed against five named and 20-25 unnamed people in connection with the killing of Swechchhasebak League activist Abdullah Antar in the city.
Deceased’s wife Sheuli Khanam filed the case with Airport Police Station on Monday night, said Gausul Hossain, officer-in-charge of the police station. Sultan Ahmed Sunny, joint general secretary of the 15 no ward unit of Awami League, has been made prime accused in the case.
Abdullah Antar was hacked to death in Goabari Nahar Manzil adjacent to a tea garden in Tukerbazar area of the city on Sunday.
