After two days of grilling in police custody, Muhin confessed to the Dhaka’s Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court that police detained them when they were on their way to Tantibazar from Banasree with 235 gold bars. The DB had continued their investigation following DMP Commissioner’s order. After their confessions, the DB conducted three separate raids in Narayaganj, Gazipur and Bogra and arrested the three policemen and their informer.
