Cargo stranded in Sundarbans rescued

Fly ash- loaded cargo ship MV. Shovon-1 that stranded at a shoal in the river Maravhola under Sharankhola forest range in the Eastern Division of Sundarban forest was rescued on Monday after long 7 days.
 Two ships named MV. Sharathi Bhai and MV.Shovon-6 took part in the rescue operation and it was rescued without any damage. They rescued the cargo from the shoal and made it to float on the deep water of the river. On the day in the morning the rescued ship crossed the forest for Dhaka.
 Before the rescue operation about 50 tones of fly ash were shifted from the stranded ship to MV. Sharathi Bhai. More than 50 labourers took part in the work. Md. Bahar Ali, master of the ship told, we are very pleased to be freed from stranding. Md. Kamal Uddin, Ranger of Sharankhola forest range told the newsmen, after the ship was rescued it left the forest in the morning on Monday. He added, there was no bad effect on the forest while it passed one week on stranding position.
