A day-long seminar on ‘Career Guideline’ was held at Islamic University (IU), Kushtia on Saturday.
IU Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Alumni Association organized the programme at Room No.140 of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology around 11:00am.
Prof Dr Momtazul Islam, Dean of Engineering and Technology Faculty, was present here as chief guest while its department chairman Prof Dr Atiqur Rahman in the chair.
Prof Dr Sharif M Al-Reza, president of the alumni association was present as convener while managing director of Akhi Enterprise Moniruzzaman Milon, Abu Zabar Rezvhe of Business development manager of Atlas Axillia Co. (Ptv). Ltd, Srilanka, DGM (Production) of Rashid Paper Mills Ltd, BD Moniruzzaman Monir, assistant director of dept of immigration and passport, BD Shahajahan Kabir, Assistant Engineer of AnH Gchem, BD Mahmud Hasan Rony spoke here as discussants.
They mentioned here various ways of developing career including- skill development, CV making, increase communication skill for the job holder attended by around 200 students from various departments under the Engineering and Technology faculty.
