At least 34 candidates of six constituencies in Kishoreganj have already started their campaign for the upcoming 11th Parliamentary Elections.
Returning Officer & Deputy Commissioner Md Sarowar Morshed Chowdhury on Monday distributed symbols among candidated for Kishoreganj 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
After receiving symbols, they started campaign openly by hanging posters, banners and festoons in 6 constituencies across the Kishoreganj district.
Among he heavyweight candidate Awami League Senior Leader Public Administration Minister Syed Ashraful Islam has got Boa symbol while former Divisional Judge Rejaul Karim Channu has got paddy husk symbol for Kishoreganj- 1 (Sadar-Hosainpur) constituency.
In Kishoreganj- 2 (Katiadi-Pakundia) constituency Former IGP Senior Secretay Noor Mohammad has been distributed Boat symbol while Former BNP leader Major (Retd.) Akhteruzzaman Ronjon has been given paddy husk symbol.
Kishoreganj- 3 (Karimganj-Tarail) constituency, Jatiya Party Presidium Member, State Minister for Labour and Manpower Mojibul Haque Channu hasd got Langool symbol while Oikyafront Leader (JSD- Rob) Professor Dr. Saiful Islam for paddy husk.
Kishoreganj- 4 (Itna-Mithamoin-Austagram) constituency, Awami League Leader President son’s Rejowan Ahamed Tofique MP has been nominated for Boat symbol while BNP Chairperson’s advisor former MP Chhatra League President Adv Fazlur Rahman has got paddy husk symbol.
In Kishoreganj- 5 (Bajitpur-Nikli) consitituency, BNP Leader Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has got paddy husk symbol while Awami League Leader Md. Afzol Hossain had been nominated Boat symbol.
In Kishoreganj- 6 (Bhairab-Kuliarchar) constituency, BCB President Awami League Leader Late President Zillur Rahman son’s Nazmul Hasan Papon has been nominated for Boat symbol while BNP District President Industrialist Shariful Alam has got Paddy Husk symbol.
