The office of the Bangladesh Awami Homoeopathy Forum and Dr.Abdul Karim Foundation was inaugurated formally at a function arranged at Chattogram Science Parishad Bhaban in the port city recently with Prof. Jaharlal Bhattachariya in the chair. Former chairman of Physics Department of Chattogram University Dr. Bikiron Prasad Barua graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
Chairman of Chattogram Sikkha Kaylan Foundation (SKWF) and Parents Care School & College Principal Dr.Abdul Karim inaugurated the offices by cutting ribbon in a festive mood and colourful function duly attended by noted educationists, intellectuals, physicians, students of the school and the homoeopathy wellwishers among others. Convenor of the Awami Homeopathy Forum, central committee and former govt member of Bangladesh Homoeopathy Board Dr. Saleh Ahmed Suleman was the special guest on the occasion. President of district unit of BHMA Advocate Dr. Md. Samiuddin was the principal speaker in it.
General Secretary of DAKF Dr. MA Fazal and teacher Jalaluddin conducted the whole programme as moderators. Acting Principal of Dr.Azizur Rahman Homeopathic Medical College Dr. Ferdousi Begum, President of BAHOP, Chattogram Unit Dr. Devabratha Bhattachariya, BAHOP City Unit President Dr Mridul Kanti Dey, Vice president Dr. Saleh Jahangir, General secretary Dr. Enamul Hoque Enam, Dr. Ratan Kumar Banik, Dr. Rabiul Hossain spoke on the occasion as honourable guests.
The chief guest on the occasion remembering the contributions of Principal Dr.Karim said from grassroot level to central stages, Dr Karim rendering services relentlessly for the development of homoeopathic medicare services and academic uplift of homeopathic study.
He said we are proud of the contributions of Principal Dr Karim for the better interest of the homoeopathy system of medicine as well as the country. Principal Dr.Abdul Karim in his brief deliverations urges all to come forward under the banner of Awami Homoeo Forum with consensus.
He called upon the homoeo friendly Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for extending cooperation for development of homooeo medical science through establishing Homoeopathic Degree colleges in each divisional headquarers of the country. Besides, on the occasion of birth anniversary of Principal Dr Abdul Karim and Prof.Dr.Bikiron Prasad on February 11 last, hundreds of school students of Parents care and A|zizur Rahman Homoeopathic college felicitated both of them by presenting bouquets on the occasion.
