State Minister for Fianance M A Mannan said Chittagong is a centre point of trade and commerce. Govt is also giving priority in developing the promotion of trade in this region. He said govtis keen to build Chittagong as an environment friendly business hub of the country. He disclosed it while addressing a seminar on International Customs Day held at Chittagong customs Auditorium on Sunday as chief guest. The chief guest in his address advised the customs officials not to harass custom beneficiaries.
The programs of the Day begins through launching colourful procession. After termination of the procession, the programs of the seminar begins at customs auditorium. Customs Commissioner Md . Masud Sadiq presided over the seminar. Member of NBR Md. Fariduddin and the President of Chittagong chamber Mahubul alam graced the occasion as special guests.
