Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan on Sunday stressed the need for keeping young generation away from the clutches of drug and terrorism.
Yaba and Phensidyl are being used to destroy the country’s young generation. But, we have to resist those, he said while addressing the 35th anniversary of Modern Herbal Group in the capital.
The Shipping Minister said Bangladesh has already achieved marked progress in many sectors, including education, health and investment. Bangladesh must go ahead combating terrorism and militancy, he said adding that the incumbent government is working hard to make the country a middle income one by 2021 and a developed country by 2041.
