President of City Awami League Unit of Chittagong and former Mayor ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury called upon the youths and workers society to play vital role to ensure punishment to the attacker in August 21 grenade attack.
He disclosed it while addressing the youths and working groups at his city residence premises on Thursday as chief guest. The meeting was arranged on behalf of the 14-psrty alliance aimed at success of human chain scheduled to be held on August 30 next in front of Chittagong Press Club .
Mohiuddin Chowdhry in his brief deliverations said vigorous movement will be enforced from Chittagong if the exemplary punishment is ensured to the grenade attackers and urged the youths to create mass awareness in this issue.
He further said this is the proper time to eliminate the anti-liberation forces otherwise the pro-liberation forces are not safe in future. He also called all to make success of the human chain on August 30 at press club square. Joint Convenor of city Jubo League Delwar Hossain Koka presided over the meet , sources said.
