One businessman was killed and 10 were injured by some miscreants at Sarerchar Bazar area in Bajitpur upazila of Kishoreganj before Tuesday evening.
The victim was identified as Rafiqul Islam Khoka (55) a trader of Sararchar Bazar in Bajitpur upazila.
Seriously injured Anowar (40), Nurul Islam (65), Marez (35), Kadar Miah (40) and Minto (45) and they were admitted to Jaurl Islam Medical College Hospital.
Bajitpur Police Station Inspector Farok Hossain said that he received information and rushed to the spot and arrested four miscreants named Sharif (40), Toma (25), Noyon (21) and Shapla Akhter (18).
The dead body was sent to Kishoreganj General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
A case was filed in this connection with Bajitpur Police Station.
