UNB, Tangail :
A bus driver and his helper were killed in a head-on collision between their vehicle and a covered van at Dullamansur in Mirzapur upazila on Wednesday morning.
The deceased could not be identified immediately. Gorai highway police officer-in-charge Khalilur Rahman Patwari said a Dhaka-bound bus collided head-on with a covered van coming from the opposite direction in the area around 7:30am, leaving one dead on the spot and another injured.
Later, the injured was rushed to Mirzapur Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
