Bangladesh High Commissioner to India Syed Muazzem Ali said the role of bureaucrats is very crucial to graduate the state into the middle income category from the group of Least Developed Counties (LDCs) by 2021.
“Bangladesh civil servants have to keep abreast of the latest knowledge and prepare and update themselves for the evolving challenges to fully support the government’s development policies to graduate it from LDC to a Middle Income Country (MIC) by 2021 and to a developed country by 2041” he said.
The envoy was addressing the inaugural ceremony of a training course for 35 senior level civil servants of Bangladesh at the prestigious ‘Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI)’ in Hyderabad on Sunday, said a press release of Bangladesh High Commission to India issued here on Tuesday.
