Bureaucrats for integrating services with BNDA

Top bureaucrats on Sunday called upon all government organizations to integrate their online services with the Bangladesh National Digital Architecture (BNDA) developed by the government to provide hassle-free quick services to the citizens.
They came up with the call while addressing a seminar on Bangladesh National Digital Architecture developed by LICT project of Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) at CIRDAP auditorium.
The stressed the need for developing unified software following the standard and guidelines to be provided by the Bangladesh National Digital Architecture (BNDA) to make interoperable of government digital information and data and integrate services in the platform to provide hassle-free quick services to the citizens.
The seminar jointly organized by ICT Division and LICT Project of Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) was addressed among others by Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam as the chief guest, Executive Director of BCC Parthapratim Deb and secretaries, additional secretaries and joint secretaries of different ministries.

 M Barkatullah presented a power-point on BNDA while Chief Architect of Open Group and President of Association of Enterprise Architects (India) Dr. Pallab Saha presented key-note paper on Sustainable Development with Enterprise Architecture: Propelling Digital Transformation in Governments.
Shafiul Alam said different government organizations have already developed software in an isolated way to digitalize their information and data which are not interoperable for use by other organisations causing huge monetary involvement to prepare same information and data.
He urged all government organisations to follow the standard and guidelines to be available soon in the BNDA platform to develop software on digital activities including digitalized information and data and integrate those with the BNDA for using by other organisations as well citizens of the country.
