Opposition Lawmaker and Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad yesterday described the proposed budget for the fiscal year 2017-2018 as the biggest one in country’s history and stressed the need for increasing budget implementation capacity.
“This time Taka 400,266 crore budget has been proposed. Capacity will have to be increased for implementation of this budget as the execution of any fiscal plan depends on efficiency and capacity,” Ershad told the Jatiya Sangsad while participating in the budget discussion yesterday afternoon.
