Annual budget of Tk 1,51,87,450 of Baliadanga union parishad (UP) under sadar upazila has been announced for the fiscal year 2015 – 2016.
Secretary of the UP Md. Rakibul Karim announced the budget in an open meeting on Wednesday afternoon.
The meeting was arranged on the UP premises in association with the Committee of the Concerned Citizen (CCC), Chapainawabganj of Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB).
The programme was held with the chairman of the UP Tariqul Islam in the chair.
Among others, the function was attended by acting chairman of the sadar upazila Yasmin Ara Begum as chief guest, upazila nirbahi officer Mirza Shakila Dil Hasin and vice chairman Maolana Sohrab Ali as special guests, members of the CCC Advocate Saiful Islam Reza and Advocate Sohrab Ali and head teacher of Baliadanga High School Md. Abdur Razzaq.
In the budget, income of Tk. 9,52,300 from the UP’s own sources and Tk. 1,42,35,150 from the government aid and aid from different non-government organizations has been shown.
