Bangladesh Television (BTV) turned into 54 on December 25. To celebrate its anniversary,
a day-long colourful programme was
organized. The celebration began with
cutting a cake on first hour of December 25.
Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith and Information Minister Hasan Haque Inu were present as the chief guests, while Director General of BTV Harun-Ur-Rashid, Deputy Director General (Programme) Surath Kumar Sarkar, among others, were present on the occasion. Producer Mahbuba Ferdous coordinated the whole event. ‘Social Media Wing’ of BTV was also inaugurated.
After cutting the cake, Subir Nandi, Farida Parveen, Indramohan Rajbongshi, Kiran Chandra Roy, Chandana Mazumder, Shahnaz Belly, Smaran, Susmita, among others,
rendered songs in the programme.
