BSPA to mark World Sports Press Day July 5

Bangladesh Sports Press Association (BSPA) will mark the World Sports Press Day on July 5 instead of on July 2 through a daylong programme in the capital.
At a function an the occasion at Bangladesh Handball Stadium, BSPA will honour four Bangladeshi sports journalists – Rezaul Karim Sohag, Shahidul Azam, Syed Majharul Parvez and Khandokar Tareq (photojournalist) – and also the newly elected first Bangladeshi ICC President AHM Mustafa Kamal, MP.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Biren Shikder MP will be the chief guest at the programme.
BSPA president Hasan Ullah Khan Rana disclosed the details of the programme at a press briefing at its conference room in Bangabandhu National Stadium here on Sunday.
Aditional Director and Head (games and sports) of the sponsor organisation Walton (RB Group) FM Iqbal Bin Anwar and BSPA festival committee chairman Iqramuzzaman were present at the briefing.
BSPA is the only body in Bangladesh which is recognised by the Association of International Sports Press.
